ABOUT THE
AHM COALITION

The Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Coalition (AHM Coalition) is a collaborative alliance, not a new entity, which draws on the existing expert resources of staff and volunteer leaders from the founding national organizations: ACAHM, ASA, CCAHM and NCBAHM (formerly NCCAOM). The Acupuncture Herbal Vendor Coalition (AHVC) joined the AHM Coalition in October 2025. The AHM Coalition is an informal coalition, with each organization retaining it's own distinct and separate structure and governance. All members are non-profit organizations, with either 501(c)3 or 501(c)6 designations. This Coalition structure supports our mission to elevate the professional standards, presence and integration of acupuncture and herbal medicine within mainstream U.S. healthcare.
